On May 7, 2022, officers were dispatched to 8601 Central Ave. NE in response to a shooting call. Officers arrived and found a male victim with a gunshot injury. The victim identified as Daniel Venhuizen, was transported to the hospital by rescue. The victim succumbed to his wounds at the hospital.
