On August 28 2022, officers responded to 9223 Marron Circle NE in reference to a shooting call. Officers arrived and located one male and one female who sustained gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as Barnabe (Bernie) Juardo and Nichole Amaya. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. An arrest has been made in this case.
