On March 28, 2022, officers were dispatched to a ShotSpotter call at 800 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle that was wrecked into a pole. The victim identified as Alexus Miller, was struck by gunfire and later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital stemming from a road rage incident.
