On June 6, 2021, officers were dispatched to the area of Broadway Ave and Coal Ave in reference to a motorcycle accident. Officers arrived and located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim Joe Romero was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival. No one has been charged in this case.
