Age Restrictions

Children younger than 10 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children ages 8 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times while in the water, therefore, they both need to be in the water.

Entry

The West Mesa Aquatic Center uses wristbands for entry into the pool. All patrons require a wristband for entry, regardless of whether they are swimming. All patrons will be asked to leave the facility between shifts to allow time to clean and allow new patrons to enter and enjoy the pool. A set number of wristbands will be available based on bather load limits from the current health code.

Wristbands are available to purchase in person at the pool beginning at 4 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. on weekends. During the summer, wristbands are available for purchase online up to 2 days in advance.

When the shift starts, patrons with wristbands can come right into the facility through the main entrance on the south side of the facility. Pickup wristbands purchased online at the front desk prior to the start of the shift. If you are a pass holder, you are still required to have a wristband; the pass simply allows you to collect a wristband without providing payment.
