Seasonal Indoor Track

Information about the City of Albuquerque's seasonal indoor track.

Home of UNM's Indoor Track and Field program, the facility features a 200-meter Mondo oval with 12-degree banked turns and six 36-inch lanes. The straight is a panel system Mondo surface with eight 48-inch lanes, which is also used for high jump. The pole vault, long jump, and triple jump are on raised runways with Mondo surfacing. The throwing ring is a wooden surface.

Public Use

The 200-meter oval, 60-meter infield, high jump area, and long jumps of the Indoor Track will be open for public use on the following dates and times:

Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 6-9 p.m.
Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 6-9 p.m.
Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 6-9 p.m.
Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 6-9 p.m.
Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 6-9 p.m.
Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 6-9 p.m.

2026 Indoor Open Meet Information

Before You Go

No outside equipment, spikes, or running blocks. Smooth soled running shoes only.
The track material is sensitive to moisture. Please bring a towel to wipe off shoes, or bring an extra pair of indoor running shoes to protect the integrity of this world-class track.
Water or drinks of any kind are not allowed on the track.
All persons wishing to use the track must sign a waiver of liability once per season; please print and sign. On-site staff will collect the forms prior to use.
