Notice of Public Meeting: Boundary Committee Public Meeting, Dec. 4

The goals of the committee are to provide a forum to discuss complex boundary issues City/County boundary areas and to: 1. Study and advice member agencies on best practices to provide effective services 2. Receive new testimony from residents of the boundary areas as to how infrastructure deficiencies and service delivery issues impact homes, neighborhoods and businesses 3. Propose plans and processes to improve infrastructure and service delivery 4. Evaluate and recommend areas for possible land swaps and annexations to improve service

Roadway Safety Changes Take Shape Along Central

The city announced that year-to-date APD has seen a 47% reduction in all fatal and serious injury crashes in the area. Along with this highlight, the Department of Municipal Development announced a set of new roadway enhancements that will improve safety along east Central Avenue for all users. The city has already taken a multifaceted approach to improve the area through engineering, education and enforcement.

Slow Down Albuquerque: More Speed Cameras Coming

ALBUQUERQUE – The City of Albuquerque will soon expand its Automated Speed Enforcement camera program with 8 additional cameras. The City has a new ASE vendor, Elovate, that has fully swapped out 20 older ASE cameras with 20 new, multiple lens, cameras. The ASE program hopes to have 8 more cameras installed across the city by the end of 2025.
