Downtown 2050

Downtown 2050 is a long-term plan to guide the future of Downtown Albuquerque. The plan focuses on housing, transportation, economic development, public spaces, and redevelopment within the Downtown Metropolitan Redevelopment Area. It was shaped through public meetings, stakeholder discussions, surveys, and community feedback gathered throughout 2024. The plan is intended to help create a downtown that is more connected, active, welcoming, and reflective of Albuquerque’s culture and identity.
