East Gateway Metropolitan Redevelopment Area Plan (2016).

The Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency, in partnership with Sites Southwest, is updating the East Gateway Metropolitan Redevelopment Area Plan! 

The update will build on the existing MRA Plan and identify focused strategies and projects to support reinvestment throughout East Gateway. The planning process will explore opportunities to:

  • Support existing businesses and attract new investment
  • Improve public spaces, safety, and connections
  • Encourage redevelopment of vacant and underused properties
  • Strengthen neighborhoods and community-serving destinations
  • Identify priorities for future public and private investment

Community members, business owners, property owners, developers, and other East Gateway stakeholders will have several opportunities to participate and help shape the plan.
