Description
Join the Esperanza Bicycle Safety Education Center for the Grand Opening of New Mexico's first Permanent Traffic Safety Garden. Traffic Gardens, sometimes called Safety Towns, Safety Cities, or Permanent Bike Rodeos, are small-scale streetscapes where kids can learn to bike and practice the rules of the road in a safe, car-free space. This new attraction is accessible by bike from the completed section of the ABQ Rail Trail, between Mountain and Bellamah.
Bring your bike, or use one from our traveling rodeo fleet.
Free helmets, safety gear, swag, paletas, bike repair and more!
With support from CABQ MRA, Kidical Mass and BikeABQ.
