Old Town Holiday Stroll 2017

Celebrate the Magic of the Holiday Season in Historic Old Town!

Friday, December 7, 2018

Set the holiday season in motion with entertainment, dining, shopping, and more. Sip hot chocolate and watch as live entertainment fill the streets in anticipation for the traditional lighting of the Old Town Christmas tree.

Christmas Tree - Aceves Family

The annual lighting of Albuquerque's largest Christmas tree holds a special meaning for the Aceves family. 2017  marked the tree lighting ceremony's silver anniversary, and the first since the passing of Henry Aceves, longtime Old Town business owner and the one who, along with his wife Karen, made the tree lighting a community tradition.

Holiday Shopping

Enjoy warm authentic New Mexican cuisine from the many restaurants in Old Town. Bring your list and do some shopping! Find the perfect gifts from jewelry to soaps, art to clothing and so much more. Take advantage of discounts and specials offered during this jolly event by local businesses and restaurants in the area.

Stroll through Old Town as local entertainers spread holiday cheer in historic plazas, museums and the gazebo.

Holiday Stroll is free for the public to attend and is a rain or shine event.
