2024 Baila Baila OT

Baila! Baila! Dance Academy has been teaching children and adults the art of Ballet Folklorico or Traditional Mexican Folk Dance for over 27 years. They were originally started by sisters Israela & Felissa Garcia in 1990 with the goal of "preserving their culture through the arts". The Company is blessed to be able to spread their talents and love for their culture and what they do to their many students as well as to countless audiences throughout the beautiful State of New Mexico, the United States of America, and around the World. They know that this wouldn't be possible without the support of their amazing community, dancers, teachers and parent volunteers!

2024 Picoso OTLeading the group is one of New Mexico's premier vocalists, Christine V, with Ray Lucero on guitar, Tony Quinones on congas, Ray Avila on bass,  John Vigil on drums, and Benito Encinias. They have had the privelage to perform throughout New Mexico, the continental US, Europe, and Asia and are looking forward to many more performances in the future.
