West Fest is a free-admission, family-friendly event best described as; “a community meeting disguised as a fiesta,” which includes a day of live music by New Mexico’s own:

Mickey Cruz at 1:00 PM

Nathaniel Krantz at 2:30 PM

Cuarenta Y Cinco at 4:00 PM

West Fest powered by Think Big will also feature a lowrider car show, Arte Escondido Art Show, numerous food trucks, local vendors of crafts and services, and a community survey. Participate in the community survey to share your thoughts and you’ll be entered for a chance to win some fabulous prizes. Your valuable input will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our community.

The goals of the event are to:

  • Celebrate the successes in the redevelopment of West Central
  • Gather input from the community to identify needs
  • Invite and encourage new business to locate on West Central’s Historic Route 66
  • Inform the community on projects coming in the near future
  • Encourage community residents to get involved in their neighborhoods
