Community Recreation Educational Initiatives Division

CREI offers a variety of programs at community centers and various locations around ABQ in order to promote community involvement, youth opportunities, health and wellness, and education that are designed to meet community needs and enhance quality of life.

Community Centers

Community centers located throughout Albuquerque host a variety of youth, adult, and senior programming. Amenities vary and may include fitness rooms, gymnasiums, and computer labs.

Youth Programs

Youth programs are offered before and/or after school and during summers at community centers and elementary schools throughout Albuquerque.

Food/Meal Programs

The Food Service Program for children provides meals in City community centers, parks, schools, apartment complexes, public housing, churches, and at non-profit organizations.

Community centers offer a variety of rooms for reservations and rentals for classes, meetings, trainings, and private events.

The 311 Community Contact Center is a centralized call center for the City of Albuquerque. The 311 service is a single telephone number for all non-emergency City of Albuquerque inquiries and services.
