Facility Usage & Rentals

City community centers are available to the general public for special events

The Department of Youth & Family Services offers a variety of facilities to suit your needs. Individuals may reserve a classroom, gymnasium, or multipurpose room for meetings, classes, activities, or private events.

You will need an updated Adult pass to use or rent City of Albuquerque community centers. Passes are free. Please create or update your pass before you fill out the interest form.

  • Requests will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. Availability may change until the contract is in place.
  • The Facility Usage/Rental Interest Form must be filled out at least 14 business days prior to event,. Full payment is due 14 days prior to event. All payments must be paid online through your account.  Shorter payment due dates may occur.
  • If you do not hear back within 14 days, contact the Rental Coordinator to ensure your form was received. 
  • The purpose of this form is to request a community center reservation and thus, it does NOT guarantee the reservation. Approval varies by site and is approved by community center management staff. Approval may take up to 14 business days. 
  • Requests are not finalized until all necessary fees, documents, and waivers are completed.

Facility usage and rentals are only allowed during the normal business hours of the community center. All City of Albuquerque Community Centers are closed Sundays. Select centers are open Saturdays from 9a to 2:45p for rentals. Hours and availability vary by community center. View specific center hours of operation and rooms available for rent.

All City of Albuquerque Community Centers are alcohol, drug and smoke free facilities.

Please note:

  • Limited availability M-F 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm due to CABQ After School Youth Programs.
  • During the months of June and July, all Community Centers are closed for rentals during the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm due to Summer Youth Programming
  • At this time, City of Albuquerque Community Centers are not hosting private team practice reservations in the afternoons and evenings.
  • Room usage includes tables and chairs provided at no cost. Clients are responsible to bring their own equipment/supplies/ Audio/Visual equipment, etc.
  • CABQ Community Centers are alcohol, drug and smoke free environments.

  • New Year's Day

CABQ Community Centers will be closed for cleaning, training, and maintenance from June 1, 2024 until June 16, 2024.  They will reopen for Summer on Monday June 17th, 2024.

  • Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except City holidays
  • Saturday and Sunday: Closed
