Homeless Services
The Family and Community Services Department is a key player in the City's effort to end homelessness. Our services include prevention, outreach, shelter and housing programs and supportive services.
Housing Services & Programs
The City of Albuquerque Community Development (CD) Division provides grant assistance for programs and services that serve persons of low and moderate income* through City general funds and entitlement funds received from the Department of Housing and Urban Development
Health & Social Services
Health and Social Services Centers provide, as a community focal point, services to meet the health, education, and social service needs of the community.
Senior Services
The City of Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is a state-sanctioned, federally mandated entity tasked with developing a comprehensive needs assessment, program planning and implementation and monitoring of all services to people over the age of 60, in Albuquerque/Bernalillo County.
Clothing Assistance
Emergency clothing assistance is offered by two of the City's Health and Social Service Centers.
Food Assistance
The food assistance program is largely based on partnerships within the community, the largest being Roadrunner Food Bank. The Health & Social Services Centers are participants in The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) governed by the USDA and FANS. Contact your local Health & Social Services Center for more information on how to receive a food box.
