Old Town Holiday Stroll

Celebrate the Magic of the Holiday Season!

Holiday Stroll is free for the public to attend and is a rain or shine event. If arriving by car, park for free at 18th St. and Bellamah Ave. and take the shuttle to Old Town. You can also take ABQ Ride's Central 66 Bus.


Holiday Stroll

Set the holiday season in motion with entertainment, dining, shopping and more! There will be holiday specials at the shops throughout Old Town. Kids will have the chance to take a photo with Santa in Plaza Vieja and watch the traditional lighting of the largest tree in Albuquerque at 6:15 p.m. in Plaza Don Luis. Join us for this time-honored Albuquerque event on December 5 from 5-9 p.m.caption:

There will be holiday specials at the shops throughout Old Town. Purchase a custom lapel pin to benefit The Arthritis Foundation of New Mexico and to receive discounts at participating merchants.

Museum Stroll

The Albuquerque Museum, Explora, and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History will all be open with free admission and holiday activities. Members of museums can take advantage of 20% off museum store purchases while non-members receive 10% off. The membership discount can be used at all museums, regardless of home membership, with the presentation of a membership card.

The entire Albuquerque Museum, including the museum store, will be open to the public and full of fun! There will be free, ornament making for people of all ages. Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee and grab a bite to eat at Slate at the Museum. Alcoholic beverages will be available for adults. Finally, JeeZ LaWeeZ will bring their folk-rock tunes for an unforgettable night of family-friendly fun.


Enjoy the interactive children's museum of science, technology, and art. Light the night with LED light holiday card making, be amazed by liquid nitrogen demonstrations, and try your hand at being one of Santa's helpers in Santa's Woodworking Workshop. There will even be the chance to take a ride on Rudolph, all while indulging in hot cider and cookies and listening to live entertainment.

New Mexico Museum of Natural Historycaption: and Science

Spend some time with prehistoric friends while kicking-off the holiday season! Kid's can have fun with free, holiday children's activities, dance the night away to musical entertainment, and relax to during shows in the dino theater. There will also be the chance to take a photo with Santa and Stan the T-Rex in his special holiday hat.

Samir Belkacemi

"I've done intensive creative work over many years and they now account for the freedom caption:of my spirit and my mind, because, both, have focused the beauty of nature and everything around us," said Samir Belkacemi. He graduated from the National School of Music in Mexico, The National Autonomous University in Mexico and has gone on to be a renowned guitarist. Samir will offer original compositions characterized by strong tones and rhythms as well as classic holiday tunes. He will be in the San Felipe de Neri Church for free performances at 7 and 8 p.m.
