Albuquerque's annual celebration of Independence Day.

Admission: $2 admission. Children 12 and under get in free. Free parking is available, however, parking is limited. ABQ Ride is offering free Park & Ride services from two remote locations. See "Free Park and Ride" information below.

Following this fabulous musical line-up, at approximately 9:30 pm, fireworks will illuminate the Albuquerque sky with a variety of unique aerial effects, all choreographed to a festive musical score, creating the ultimate spectator experience. Fireworks are subject to weather conditions.
The event will include food vendors, a beer garden, and children & family activities on the green, green, grass of Balloon Fiesta Park.
Free Park & Ride provided by ABQ Ride will be available from two locations:
West side - St. Pius High School(NE Corner of Coors and St Joseph's)
East side - Coronado Center(NW Corner Menaul and San Pedro)
Park and Ride Services bringing people to the event will be between the hours of 3:45 and 8:00 pm. Buses will run continuously during that time.
Return trips, from the Balloon Fiesta Park, back to the Park and Ride locations, will run continuously until 11:00 pm.
A $2.00 admission fee for the event will be collected at the Park and Ride locations, prior to boarding the bus. Tickets will be checked upon entering Balloon Fiesta Park.
The main stage will be located at the North end of the park. There will be food concessions on site, along with fun activities and entertainment for the kids. Free activities include a variety of inflatable jumpers, face painting, a climbing wall, juggling and more! This is a rain or shine event.

The following will not be allowed at Balloon Fiesta Park or on the Park and Ride buses.
Pets, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, drug paraphernalia, weapons, fireworks, and open containers. You also cannot bring B-B-Q grills, camp stoves or other cooking devices.
The following is allowed at Balloon Fiesta Park and on the Park and Ride buses.
Sealed plastic containers, blankets, strollers, umbrellas, picnic food and small compact chairs. Coolers and picnic baskets will be searched at each entrance gate into the park and before loading onto the Park and Ride buses.
PLEASE NOTE: Pop up tents are allowed in the park, however, pop-up tents will not be allowed on the Park & Ride buses. Umbrellas and pop-ups will be restricted to a limited area of the park so as not to block the view of others.
ATM machines will be available on site.
There are no special accommodations for RV's. RV's will park with general public and regular vehicles. There is no overnight camping or utility hookups available for Freedom Fourth.
