Harvest Festival Blooms at ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden & Aquarium
Annual event welcomes fall with live music, kids’ fun, and more.
More than 20 bands spanning blues to red dirt country are among the highlights of the ABQ BioPark’s Harvest Festival returning to the Botanic Garden and Aquarium on October 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Other treats include discovery stations, seasonal displays, and opportunities to shop handmade items by local artisans.
The festival highlights the sights, sounds, and flavors of fall in Albuquerque. Guests can explore the Botanic Garden’s sprawling grounds while enjoying performances from local bands across six areas. Guests can sample fresh apple cider pressed from apples grown at the Heritage Farm, along with other seasonal food and drink available throughout the event.
“The Harvest Festival brings families together for a weekend of fall fun at the BioPark,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “With music, activities, and plenty to explore, there are lots of ways for families to spend time together and discover something new.”

- 9:30 to 11 a.m. – JD Nash & The Rash of Cash
- 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Levi Dean & The Mesa Rats
- 1:30 to 3 p.m. – The Larry Hamilton Band
- 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – The Squarebodies
Sunday, October 4
- 9:30 to 11 a.m. – Felix y Los Gatos
- 11:30 am to 1 p.m. – Just Velvet
- 1:30 to 3 p.m. – Danny Duran Band
- 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Toni and the Kickback Counselors
A complete lineup of entertainment can be found on the website. Family activities are a central part of the weekend, with free face painting and discovery stations featuring chile, farm herbs, pollinators, flowers, and others each day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission includes access to the Botanic Garden and Aquarium. Admission is half-price for New Mexico BioPark Society members with valid ID. The event is rain or shine, and visitors are welcome to bring chairs, picnics, and coolers. For safety, glass, alcohol, canopies, pets, and weapons are not permitted.
