Saturday, September 19, Central Avenue transforms into the FREE BOE Music Festival with two outdoor stages, 5+ downtown venues activated with live music, 50+ bands and DJ’s, local vendors, classic cars, family activities, and the live filming of the Season 6 finale. 4 to 11 pm.

GALACTIC FEATURING JELLY JOSEPH

Galactic brings New Orleans funk, fearless improvisation, and three decades of unstoppable groove to BOE. With 10 albums, more than 2,200 shows, and performances at Coachella, Bonnaroo, and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, the legendary quintet has become one of America's most enduring live bands. KINGFISH 

Christone “Kingfish” Ingram brings searing guitar, powerhouse vocals, and Mississippi blues fire to BOE. Hailing from Clarksdale, the Grammy-winning guitarist and songwriter has become one of the defining blues voices of his generation, blending tradition with soul, rock, funk, and modern energy. With electrifying musicianship and a sound rooted in the birthplace of the blues, Kingfish delivers a performance that feels timeless, urgent, and unforgettable.

LEVI PLATERO

Levi Platero brings blistering guitar work, blues-rock power, and deep New Mexico roots to BOE. A Diné guitarist and songwriter from the Navajo Nation, Levi has earned a reputation as one of the Southwest’s most electrifying performers. The Bands of Enchantment Music Festival takes place Saturday, September 19, from 4 to 11 pm on Central Avenue between 4th and 6th Street in Downtown Albuquerque.

The festival is FREE and open to the public. Reservations are encouraged to help gauge attendance. 

Please Know Before You Go:

  • The festival is rain or shine—check the weather, dress accordingly, and stay hydrated.
  • Central Avenue will be closed from 3 AM Saturday, September 19, through 2 AM Sunday, September 20.
  • Bus routes will be affected by the street closures. Please check ABQ Transit for updated routes and schedules.

Parking
