Description

There are 107 species of lemur assessed by the ICUN Red List of Endangered Species, all of whom live on one island - Madagascar!

As a group, Lemurs are the most endangered group of mammals. Threats from habitat change, poaching, climate change, and invasive species have left a full 98% of lemur species threatened with extinction, and 31% of species Critically Endangered.
