Timed Ticketing

To ensure social distancing between guests, we are limiting the number of timed tickets available each day. Guests will choose a time and date when they purchase tickets online and must arrive within a half-hour of that time.

New Mexico BioPark Society members will continue to receive complimentary admission to the BioPark, but must now reserve a “ticket” online in order to visit.

Our timed-entry tickets are available online through order tickets by phone, call Hold My Ticket at 1-877-466-3404.  For all other ticket issues, call for the 311 Community Contact Center at 505-768-2000.

Rain Checks and Refunds

No rain checks or refunds. We encourage guests to check the weather forecast before purchasing tickets as there are NO refunds or rain checks for inclement weather unless the ABQ BioPark and the City of Albuquerque makes the decision to temporarily close for safety.

Safety Measures

  • Restrooms are available and will be cleaned and sanitized frequently.
  • All ABQ BioPark staff members are required to wear face masks.
  • All guests are required to wear multi-layer face coverings unless eating or drinking. We are not currently accepting medical exemptions. Wearing masks helps protect our animals and staff.
  • Penguin Chill is closed from 1:30-2:30 p.m. daily for deep cleaning and animal care. The BUGarium, which is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, is closed from 1:30-2 p.m. for cleaning.

Dining and Shopping

Outdoor food and beverage options and outdoor kiosks for merchandise purchases are available.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles, as public water fountains are off.
