Twinkle Light Parade
Kick-off the holiday season with Albuquerque's biggest holiday parade, The Annual Twinkle Light Parade! It is a spectacular family-friendly holiday event featuring dozens of floats, marching bands, equestrian clubs, fire trucks, car clubs, and businesses and wrapping up with Mr. and Mrs. Claus! With over 300,000 lights, the parade is sure to dazzle audiences of all ages. This is a don't-miss event.
Location & Parking
The annual Twinkle Light Parade will make a return appearance on Central Avenue in Nob Hill. The parade will run West on Central Ave. from Washington to Girard.
Nob Hill, "the original Main Street of Albuquerque," has plenty to offer locals and out-of-state visitors alike. Full of small business, boutiques, restaurants, and coffee shops, you'll want to dine and shop in the Nob Hill district before and after the parade. Arrive early or plan to stay late and explore one of Albuquerque's most beloved, historic areas.
Park & Ride
Beat the traffic and find easy parking by taking the free Park and Ride. Park on the Southwest corner of University and Lomas, then take the Park and Ride from the lot to the parade. To take the Park and Ride back to the parking lot, meet at Johnson Field on Redondo Dr. Shuttles will run from 3-10 p.m. Due to the street closures ABQ Ride will have a detour line.
