Information about the Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center.

Department of Senior Affairs continues to monitor the State's Public Health Order and adjust accordingly.  At the Turquoise level, Senior Affairs will increase in-person recreational and fitness offerings.  We will continue to evaluate how to increase more in person activities and programing. Check with your specific center for more information.

Lunch service, virtual programming and other essential services will continue to be available.  Learn more about what to expect when visiting DSA facilities in this flyer.  

As of June 1, 2021, masks are optional for those that are fully vaccinated with some exceptions: 

  • Masks will still be required when using transportation services.
  • Direct Youth program staff and youth participants at multigenerational centers will be required to wear masks at all times except when outdoors and during mealtimes.

Lunch Update (more details):

  • Drive-Thru Grab & Go Lunch meal service is ending on Friday, June 4th.
  • Starting Monday, June 7th, lunch will now be available inside all senior and multigenerational centers. We are excited to finally see you in-person!
  • Meal reservations are required one day prior by 1pm.
  • You can now enjoy lunch indoors! Seating availability will be based on the NM public health order and may be limited.
  • Lunch can be picked up and taken to-go, if preferred.
  • As of June 7th, members will no longer be allowed to pick up multiple lunches for their 60+ family or neighbors. Each member will need to come to their senior/multigenerational center site to pick up their own reserved lunch. Homebound adults 60+ can call our Senior Information Line at 505-764-6400 to inquire about qualifying for our home-delivered meal service. 


  • Online donations are welcome
  • Barelas, Los Volcanes, North Valley, Manzano Mesa, North Domingo Baca meal sites offer no cost lunch to adults 60+ ($2-dollar donation suggested.) Ages 59-50, the cost is a reduced rate of $3.25.
  • Highland, Palo Duro, & Bear Canyon offers lunch for 50+ at a reduced cost of $3.25.
  • Adults under the age of 50 that visit our senior/multigenerational centers can purchase lunch for $7.67.


Memberships help us keep accurate count of participants, as well as help make sure we obtain appropriate resources and funding to continue providing free and low-cost services to our active adult community.

  • New participants will be required to register for membership in order to continue services. New memberships have a $20.00 annual fee; however, a fee waiver can be requested.
  • Existing members with a previous active membership as of March 17th of 2020 will be renewed and extended due to the COVID-19 pandemic closures of our centers.

Splash Pad Seasonal Hours

Open June 14, 2021- August 7, 2021. 

Splash Pad open to the public during the following hours: 

  • Monday-Friday: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Saturday:  Temporarily Closed Saturdays (will resume normal Saturday operations at a later date).
  • Sunday:  Closed 

Splash Pad Admission Fees

  • Active Membership Required (New memberships have a $20 dollar annual fee-see Membership Information for details)
  • Additional cost of 50-cents for every individual (youth included) accompanying active members visiting the Manzano Mesa Splash Pad.

Please note:  Masks are not required for youth participants while outdoors or for those fully vaccinated.
