Information about Senior Affairs fitness centers and activities for people aged 50 and over.

50+ Sports & Fitness Updates:

  • Updated Mask Requirement:  Masks are required at all times in City of Albuquerque facilities and transportation vehicles regardless of vaccination status.  We thank you in advance for your continued cooperation. 
  • Our aquatics water exercise program at the UNM Therapy Pool is returning in November! Tuesday and Thursday weekly schedules available. Participants will be selected by lottery and must have a current membership to participate.  Lottery registration forms can be picked up at any senior, multigenerational or sports and fitness centers.  Please return completed forms to any center between November 1 - November 5Participants selected will be notified by November 13, first class begins Tuesday November 16!  For more information or if you have any questions, please contact 505-880-2800.

All Senior Affairs 50+ Sports and Fitness centers are open for full operations and offering group fitness classes. The 50+ Sports and Fitness Program includes individual and group weight training classes; aerobic, gentle, and flex tone exercise classes; adapted aquatics; an outdoor recreation program; a walking program; evidenced-based programs; and the Albuquerque 50+ Games. New classes and opportunities are added regularly.
