Information about Highland Senior Center.

Beginning July 6, 2021, all senior, multigenerational and 50+ Fitness Centers will re-open for full operations. For more information or details about our re-opening plan, please contact your senior or multigenerational center or call our Senior Information Line at 505-764-6400. 

Some virtual programming and all Senior Social Services will continue to be available.

Beginning July 6, 2021, low-cost breakfast will be available M-F from 8A-9A.


M-F 11:30A-1P.

As of July 6, 2021, we will phase out our Grab & Go Lunch program and resume our dine in only lunch program.


  • Online donations are welcome and appreciated
  • Barelas, Los Volcanes, North Valley, Manzano Mesa, North Domingo Baca meal sites offer no cost lunch to adults 60+ ($2-dollar donation suggested.) Ages 59-50, the cost is a reduced rate of $3.25.
  • Highland, Palo Duro, & Bear Canyon offers lunch for 50+ at a reduced cost of $3.25.

Adults under the age of 50 that visit our senior/multigenerational centers can purchase lunch for $7.67.


Memberships help us keep accurate count of participants, as well as help make sure we obtain appropriate resources and funding to continue providing free and low-cost services to our active adult community.

  • New participants will be required to register for a membership in order to continue services. New memberships have a $20.00 annual fee; however, a fee waiver can be requested.
  • Existing members with a previous active membership as of March 17th of 2020 will be renewed and extended at no cost due to the COVID-19 pandemic closures of our centers.
