Monthly event for curious minds of all ages on April 16 includes live music.

April 11, 2022 - The Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum continues its monthly event, S.T.E.A.M. Nights at the Balloon Museum, with the theme Robots & Drones from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. This event explores the science and technology behind the creation of robots and drones in a fun-filled evening with a live DJ and demonstrations.

Presenting partner Be Greater Than Average will lead activities such as build a robot, snap circuits, and 3D printer demonstrations. Professional drone pilot Jesse Sansom will showcase his remarkable drone footage from the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta ®.

“Join us as we delve into the fascinating world of robots and drones.” says Museum Manager Nan Masland. “Explore hands on activities and who knows? Maybe you’ll be able to take a robot home with you at the end of the night!”

DJ Melanie Moore will be playing robot inspired beats, VARA Winery and Distillery will have wine and cocktails for sale, and the Munchie Truck food truck will be on site with snack and dinner options. Weather permitting, there will be a Radio Controlled hot air balloon inflation.
