Prepare to be dazzled as the City of Albuquerque presents its annual Twinkle Light Parade, transforming a stretch of Nob Hill into a magical mile on Saturday, December 2, starting at 5:15 p.m. More than 100 twinkling entries, including marching bands, big box trucks, show vehicles, firetrucks, dance groups, and more, will compete for the coveted Best in Show title, casting a radiant glow along Central Ave. from Washington St. to Girard Blvd.

The dedication of more than 4,000 participants from local businesses, non-profit organizations, community and school groups, and families guarantees that this year's Twinkle Light Parade will outshine them all. Brace yourself for the grand finale, featuring the Carpenter's Union escorting Jolly Ol' St. Nick down the parade route, accompanied by local car clubs for Santa's Cruise.

To make the most of the evening, Central Ave. will close to traffic at 3 p.m., providing easy access for shoppers and diners to explore the numerous stores, galleries, and restaurants in the area before and after the event.

This rain or shine event is free for all ages. For a stress-free journey, take advantage of the Park & Ride operated by UNM. Free parking is available at the southwest corner of Lomas Blvd. and University Blvd., with buses running from 3 p.m. to Johnson Field throughout the event until 10:30 p.m.

The Twinkle Light Parade is sponsored by iHeart Media. Check out the full list of participants at https://tinyurl.com/a4nrkta6.
