Public Library Presents Books to the Big Screen Featuring Film Adaptations of Roald Dahl

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory among free offerings at 8 branches.

January 27, 2023 - The Public Library of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, along with Friends of the Public Library, is celebrating its annual public screenings of book to film adaptations during Books to the Big Screen in February. Eight film adaptations of Roald Dahl will be presented for free at Public Library branches. These movies star Hollywood luminaries such as Angelica Houston, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Meryl Streep, George Clooney, among others.
