Live Music Returns to the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden this Week

Garden Sounds to showcase local musicians

July 8, 2021 - Live music returns to the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden with a series of summer concerts featuring local favorites. Garden Sounds begins tonight, Thursday, July 8 at 6:30 p.m. and runs every Thursday evening through August. Visitors can enjoy cooler temperatures as they explore more than 1.5 miles of paths through formal and whimsical gardens designed to delight the senses. Tickets for tonight's concert can be purchased at the gate.

Tonight's concert features Eli del Puerto y Los Encantos. Eli del Puerto belts out originals and covers in both Spanish and English. She is a world-traveling songbird who arrives to ports around the world singing and dancing. Her artist name, Eli del Puerto, was born while living in the port city Veracruz, Veracruz, México. Her bandmates are accomplished musicians referred to as “Los Encantos,” her dear ones. Los Encantos add
rhythmic world flare bringing both the music and the audience to life.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5.50 for children 3-12 and seniors 65+. Children under 3 get in free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at https://abqbiopark.holdmyticket.com/.

The Shark Reef Cafe will be open serving a variety of delicious food. Guests are welcome to bring coolers and picnics, although glass containers and alcohol are prohibited. The Aquarium and BUGarium will not be open during Garden Sounds. Pets are not allowed at the ABQ BioPark. Gates open at 6 p.m.
