
Harvest Festival Blooms at ABQ BioPark’s Botanic Garden and Aquarium
Annual event features 20 local bands, free kids’ fun, and more
Fall into the coziness of autumn at the ABQ BioPark’s Harvest Festival, returning Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This two-day celebration brings the essentials of autumn to one destination featuring live local music, artisans, and free kids’ activities set against the vibrant backdrop of the Botanic Garden and Aquarium.
The festival highlights the sights, sounds, and flavors of fall in Albuquerque. Guests can explore the Botanic Garden’s grounds, including the new Lebanon and Beyond garden, see seasonal displays, and enjoy performances from more than 20 local bands across seven areas. Guests can sample fresh apple cider pressed from fruit grown at the Heritage Farm along with other seasonal food and drink available throughout the event. Local artisans will also be on site with handcrafted goods.

“Harvest Festival at the BioPark is a tradition that connects us with the best of fall,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “It’s a chance to enjoy music, food, and activities in one of Albuquerque’s greatest public spaces.”
The Harvest Festival is included with regular admission. Admission is half-price for New Mexico BioPark Society members with valid ID. The event is rain or shine, and visitors are welcome to bring chairs, picnics, and coolers. For safety, glass, alcohol, canopies, pets, and weapons are not permitted.
