Celebrate Mom at the ABQ BioPark Zoo
Families are invited to celebrate mothers of all species at the the ABQ BioPark Zoo’s annual “Mother's Day at the Zoo” celebration on Sunday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This educational event offers a unique opportunity for families to enjoy the Zoo's diverse wildlife and other holiday activities.
“Our Zoo is a living classroom where families learn together and connect with the natural world,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “On Mother’s Day, it becomes a celebration of community, family, and a chance to learn something new about wildlife and conservation.”
Guests will learn about the Zoo’s resident animal mothers and their offspring, gaining insights into the nurturing behaviors of species ranging from western lowland gorillas to kangaroos. Families can also enjoy live music performances at various locations within the Zoo. The full entertainment lineup can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/39592psf.
