Get ready to embrace fall the New Mexican way at Casa San Ysidro during the Village of Corrales’ annual Harvest Festival. The village’s largest community celebration takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 27 and 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At Casa San Ysidro, visitors can browse the Heritage Artist Market, featuring handmade crafts from some of New Mexico’s most skilled makers, while live performances set the stage for a weekend of cultural celebration. The Acoma Pueblo Enchanted Dancers will share their communal performances both mornings, bringing a deeply rooted expression of Native tradition to the festival.

“The Harvest Festival is one of our favorite ways to welcome the community to Casa San Ysidro,” said Casa San Ysidro Manager Aaron Gardner. “It’s a chance to experience New Mexico’s traditions right in the heart of Corrales and see how these practices continue to shape our lives.”

Both days visitors will experience the artistry and history that define New Mexico through demonstrations of blacksmithing, weaving, pottery, tinworking, leather punch, beadwork, horno baking, and more. Artists, artisans, and museum guides will share their skills and knowledge, allowing guests to connect with history and learn firsthand how traditions are carried forward.

“Casa San Ysidro is a living connection to our past,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “Events like the Harvest Festival bring this historic site to life, giving families and visitors a one-of-a-kind experience.”

More than a gathering place, Casa San Ysidro is an artifact in itself, preserved within a landscape that holds centuries of New Mexican legacy. A satellite of the Albuquerque Museum operated jointly with the Village of Corrales, the property houses one of the most comprehensive collections of New Mexican art and furnishings, and is an ideal setting for this celebration of cultural heritage and community pride.

Admission to the Harvest Festival and Casa San Ysidro is free and open to all.
