ABQ BioPark Announces Summer Concert Series

Garden and Zoo Music return with exciting lineups.

There’s no shortage of musical filled evenings as the ABQ BioPark’s summer concert series returns to the Zoo and Botanic Garden. Zoo Music and Garden Music offer a unique blend of live music set against the stunning backdrops of the BioPark, providing an unforgettable family-friendly experience. Garden Music showcases a diverse array of local talent on Thursdays from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

● May 29: Entourage Jazz Swings Bobby & Frank – A tribute to Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra

● June 12: Chris Dracup: Funk of the West – Fusion of funk and Southwestern sounds

● June 26: ABBAquerque – Celebrating the timeless hits of ABBA

● July 17: Son Como Son – Delivering vibrant Afro-Cuban salsa rhythms

● July 31: Damian Wyldes – Soulful Americana melodies

Experience live music in a wild setting with Zoo Music, featuring performances from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Fridays.

● June 6: Johnny Mullenax – A blend of funky country and bluegrass tunes

● June 20: Jesse Roper – Energetic rock with soulful undertones

● July 11: Zach Person – Modern blues-rock with a fresh twist

● July 25: The Mother Hips – Celebrated for their unique California soul sound

“There’s nothing like live music on a summer evening in Albuquerque, and the BioPark makes it even better,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “These concerts are a chance to celebrate local and national talent while enjoying one of the coolest places in the city.”

Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. Guests are welcome to bring chairs, coolers, and picnics. Glass containers, alcohol, sports equipment, tents, and canopies are prohibited. Pets are not allowed at the ABQ BioPark. All habitats will be open except the Penguin Chill. The penguins have an Antarctic bedtime.
