As Albuquerque continues celebrating the Route 66 Centennial, the Department of Arts & Culture is excited to share that the free Centennial Concert Series, presented by the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame, is returning this Fall!
The outdoor concert series sets the stage for a vibrant fall afternoon, featuring New Mexico Music Hall of Fame alumni to the amphitheater stage, at the Route 66 Visitor Center for live, locally rooted performances featuring uniquely themed artists each week.
Local food trucks will be serving delicious bites, come hungry!

Saturday, September 26 - Music of the Decades 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s
12 pm - PICOSO and Christine Vee with Guest Sal Garcia
1:30 pm - Meet & Greet with George Tomsco - Founder Member of the Fireballs, and Sidro Garcia - Founder of Sidro’s Armada
2:30 pm - David & Company

For wings and hot dogs, Alitas has you covered. CCR Roasting will be serving their signature fire‑roasted corn.
PICOSO - Blending sophisticated rhythms with high-energy grooves, PICOSO features New Mexico Music Hall of Fame alumni Pete Gabaldon and Ray Avila, alongside talented musicians Benny “BT” Torrez, Benito Encinias, and powerhouse vocalist Christine Vee.
George Tomsco - The Fireballs - Founded in Raton, New Mexico, The Fireballs helped define the early rock and roll era with their signature guitar-driven sound and unforgettable hits.
The Fireballs were inducted into the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame in 2006.
Sidro Garcia - Originally from Willard, New Mexico, Sidro became one of the Southwest’s most respected guitarists, blending popular music, Latin influences, classical guitar, and rock into a signature sound.
Sidro Garcia was inducted into the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
David Nunez - A celebrated multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter, and collaborator, David’s decades-long career showcases the creativity and passion that define New Mexico’s rich musical heritage.
He was inducted into the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame in 2008.
