Description

As Albuquerque continues celebrating the Route 66 Centennial, the Department of Arts & Culture is excited to share that the free Centennial Concert Series, presented by the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame, is returning this Fall!

The outdoor concert series sets the stage for a vibrant fall afternoon, featuring New Mexico Music Hall of Fame alumni to the amphitheater stage, at the Route 66 Visitor Center for live, locally rooted performances featuring uniquely themed artists each week.

Local food trucks will be serving delicious bites, come hungry!

Saturday, September 19 - Tejano Legends Meet the New Mexico Allstars

Peter Vigil and the All-Star Band - A diverse mix of beloved covers and original songs, this New Mexico-based group delivers dynamic performances that connect with audiences of all ages.

Johnny Hernandez - A founding member of the iconic group Little Joe y La Familia, Johnny helped shape the Tejano genre with a groundbreaking blend of traditional Mexican music, blues, rock, and more.

With a career rooted in cultural pride and heartfelt storytelling, Johnny continues to honor his heritage and inspire audiences across New Mexico.

George Rivas and The Latin Breed - Best known for his work with the influential group Latin Breed, George has built a celebrated career filled with memorable performances, collaboration, and a passion for the music he loves.

Robert Gonzales AKA “Gonzalo” - Inspired by New Mexico’s rich musical traditions, Robert has built a remarkable career as a bassist, performer, recording artist, and collaborator with legendary acts including Leroy Mora y Los Duques and Al Hurricane.
