Description

This summer, the BioPark Concerts are getting wild. Introducing a newly revamped Zoo Music series packed with more music, more learning, more activities, and more fun for the entire family. In addition to a touring band on the Bandshell, each evening features a unique theme, bringing different habitats to life with live local music, up-close keeper chats, and interactive discovery stations. It’s not just a concert, it’s a Zoo experience like never before.

The ABQ BioPark Zoo opens its Zoo Music concert series with a live performance by Eddie 9V. His signature mix of Southern soul, blues, rock, and funk creates the perfect soundtrack for a summer evening. Eddie 9V will take the Bandshell Stage at 7 pm.

Step into adventure as you explore the evening’s featured habitat: Asia! This immersive experience invites you to wander through stunning wildlife exhibits and hands-on discovery stations, where you can learn more about incredible animals like orangutans, snow leopards, Malayan tigers, and Asian elephants.

Catch exciting keeper chats and watch animal training sessions up close as it’s your chance to see these amazing creatures in action! Then grab an activity chart and become an explorer for the night, searching for hidden animal statues throughout Asia. And don’t forget to move to the music as a local band brings the whole experience to life.
