The Cactus and Succulent Society of New Mexico (CSSNM) will have an exhibition of prize-winning plants along with demonstrations and special displays dedicated to specific groups of plants during Labor Day weekend. Come see some of the exotic, fascinating, occasionally confusing, and wonderful plants from the world of cacti and other succulents. Learn which cold-hardy plants work well in Albuquerque landscapes, including many “non-prickly” ones, find out how to handle the “prickly” ones, and discover the edible ones. You can even taste some prickly pear juice and jam, while supplies last!
