Discover South Broadway Cultural Center

Get to know one of Albuquerque's best-kept secrets.

The South Broadway Cultural Center is an architectural and artistic jewel located in the heart of Albuquerque’s historic South Broadway neighborhood. It is comprised of a 300 seat theatre, an art gallery, a community event room, and a library.

Originally a storefront with a small performance space and a library created to serve the community, the old storefront was demolished in late 1992 to make way for the new facility. Since its opening in April 1994, the South Broadway Cultural Center has been a hub for artists, musicians, actors and dancers who breathe life into Albuquerque’s vibrant creative economy.

The John Lewis Theatre offers a diverse entertainment line-up throughout the year.
