OSVC gallery will open at 12:30pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. We are filming a virtual art show, featuring the current exhibits, from 9am – 12pm.

Call for Fiber Art “Earth Threads” at the Open Space Visitor Center
The City of Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center will present an exhibit of fiber arts. The exhibit will run through July 27th. The theme provides an opportunity for artists working in all fiber media to create an original work inspired by any aspect of the idea of “Earth Threads”: land and soil conservation, community, habitat and ecosystems, the effects of climate change on our native landscapes, the beauty of our New Mexico public lands, or anything else that moves you to create. Fiber artists of all levels working in all media are invited to submit their work through February 22nd, 2019.

Please note that the annual parking pass at Elena Gallegos and Boca Negra Canyon will increase to $30 as of November 1st.
Winter Hours at Elena Gallegos
Please note that as of November 1st, Elena Gallegos Picnic Area will be entering winter hours and will be open daily 7:00am to 7:00pm.
