The Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs is works as a collaborator, catalyst and connector for immigrants and refugees. Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs is establishing a central point of contact within city government to assist in navigating city and community resources, including workforce development, early childhood, business development, legal services, and other support services to strengthen families.

Where Does Funding Comes From?

In July 2016, the City of Albuquerque were awarded a multi-year grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to launch an Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs in the City of Albuquerque.

What Does the Grant Pay For?

One contracted coordinator.

When Will the Office be Ready to Take Requests?

We are currently working with and taking requests from the community. We welcome you or your organization to please contact us.

Where is the Office Located?

The team is working out of 1 Civic Plaza NW until a home is located in the community.
