School Group Discounts
School group discounts are available on weekdays during the school year from Labor Day through Memorial Day. For summer, please see Recreation Group Discounts.
Eligible Groups
- Public and private schools in session
- Day care centers following a preschool curriculum
- Home schools and home school co-ops
Please note that each home school will need to submit your Notification of Establishment of a Home School by fax to (505) 764-6222.
- University classes
Complete an Adult Education Group Request
- Groups must consist of at least 10 students and 2 adults.
Ineligible Groups
No discounts are available during the school year for community or senior centers, scouts, summer recreation groups, churches, group homes, large families, companies, YMCAs or after-school groups. Recreation Group Discounts are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. (If your group visits often, consider a BioPark membership for potential savings.)

Tickets are for Zoo or Aquarium & Garden.

- Adult: $3.00
We accept cash, check, purchase orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Payment may be made up to a week before the visit.
Cancellations
To cancel a field trip, call (505) 764-6272 at least 72 hours before your scheduled visit.
Reservations Required
Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance to receive the group discount. School field trips are scheduled only on weekdays.

Accomodations
Schools can find group-friendly accommodation rates at nearby Old Town hotels. The Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn, a sponsor of the BioPark, is conveniently located and offers discounted rates for school groups visiting Albuquerque for a trip to the Zoo, Aquarium or Botanic Garden.
