Land use decisions that are appealed go through the Land Use Hearing Officer for recommendation and then to City Council for a final decision.

How to File an Appeal

All final decisions related to the Integrated Development Ordinance can be appealed.

Appeals of Land Use Decisions to the City Council

Council Services schedules hearing dates for the Land Use Hearing Officer (LUHO), who makes a recommendation to Council, and Council hearings for the final decision of appeals.

  • Please see City Council's Legistar for more information, selecting "Appeals" from the drop down menu and the relevant year, or "All Years" if you do not know when the appeal was filed.
