Inclusion Recreation Before & After School Program
Inclusive programs for children and teens with disabilities are available at multiple locations throughout Albuquerque.
Loma Linda Community Center
Program Hours
- Before School: 7:00 a.m. until the start of the school day
- After School: School dismissal until 6:00 p.m.
Transportation Provided
- Lowell Elementary
- Bandelier Elementary
- Jefferson Middle School (after school only)
Students with disabilities from other schools are welcome. Families are responsible for transportation to the program site.
Heights Community Center
Hours
- Before School: 7:00 a.m. until school begins
- After School: School dismissal to 6:00 p.m.
Transportation Provided
- Monte Vista Elementary
Students with disabilities from other schools are welcome. Families are responsible for transportation to the program site.
McCollum Elementary School
After School Only
- School dismissal to 6:00 p.m.
Middle & High School Program
After-school programming is available for middle and high school students with disabilities.
Transportation is not provided. Families are encouraged to utilize Sun Van services.
Registration
Registration opens July 27, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
- Register online at play.cabq.gov
- Monthly fees apply at APS school sites
- Space is limited
- Waitlists open automatically when programs reach capacity
- Children with disabilities receive priority placement from the waitlist
Inclusion Recreation
Our goal is to help individuals with disabilities participate in recreation programs throughout the City of Albuquerque. Accommodations and inclusion support are available for City programs upon request.
