APD Issues 934 Citations for License Plate Related Infractions During Targeted Enforcement

ALBUQUERQUE – APD officers have issues 934 citations for license plate related infractions in a week of targeted enforcement specifically looking for vehicles without license plates.
APD’s Field Services Bureau and the Traffic Unit kicked off enforcement on Saturday February 4, 2023. There have been a total of 4 arrests that stemmed from traffic stops, the majority of which were for Driving on a Revoked License.
The Field Services Bureau has issued 384 citations so far, and the Traffic Unit to include DWI officers, have issued 550 citations related to license plates.
