APD investigating fatal shooting at NW park

ALBUQUERQUE – APD homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting at a neighborhood park in Northwest Albuquerque.

Officers responded to a shooting today at 3:49 p.m. at Sundoro Park, located at 9501 Endee Rd., N.W., which is west of Arroyo Vista Blvd., between I-40 and Ladera Dr.

Officers located the victim, an adult male, who was deceased as a result of gunshot wounds. He was in the parking lot of the park.

This incident will be investigated by APD’s Homicide Unit. No one is currently in custody and the park is the only area closed at this time.
