Description

Join one of the first activities of the Crane Festival at the Open Space Visitor Center! Learn with an Open Space Educator and the Bird Alliance of Central New Mexico how to use provided binoculars and view the migratory Sandhill Cranes in the adjacent agricultural fields. Continue with a short hike around the ephemeral wetlands with more hands-on learning together as a family. Come for the family nature club and stay for the other festival activities!

Program is free, but registration is required at play.cabq.gov (Open Space → Public Programs → Family Programs → Family Nature Club Hikes)
