Make Your Artistic Dreams a Reality

Apply now for Urban Enhancement Trust Fund grants.
December 10, 2024

Have an idea for an artistic project that will uplift your community? This is your chance. Arts and cultural organizations, collectives, or community groups that are not-for-profit are encouraged to apply for funding via the City’s Urban Enhancement Trust Fund.

Applications for the FY2026/2027 funding cycle are now being accepted with the goal of supporting projects that enrich and enhance the urban environment in creative ways.

“Albuquerque is home to a rich and diverse art scene that you won’t find anywhere else,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “We’re always looking to create more opportunities to support our local artists and will continue invest in projects that fuel creativity and beautify our community.”

The UETF has a longstanding commitment to supporting programs that celebrate cultural diversity, foster creativity, and strengthen community bonds. Grants awarded in this cycle will fund projects that will make a lasting impact, including cultural festivals, exhibitions and performances, and youth engagement programs. For FY2026/2027, UETF especially encourages collectives, artist-led groups, and organizations who have never received an award to apply.

The application deadline is January 20, 2025.

UETF staff will host an information session on December 12, as well as regular Zoom office hours during the month of December. More information about the session and Zoom hours can be found on the UETF website. Organizations and groups are encouraged to visit www.cabq.gov/uetf for detailed information on eligibility criteria, application guidelines and questions, and frequently asked questions.

UETF seeks to provide funding for projects that address the needs of the diverse communities that makeup Albuquerque. This two-year funding cycle will prioritize projects that positively impact residents, neighborhoods, and communities by providing direct access and increased opportunities for quality cultural activities and programming by, for, and about a broad representation of our city’s population.
