Matunda means "fruit" in Swahili, and this cafe offers a wide variety of snacks and drinks. Find the Matunda Cafe in the Africa area across from the Wild Wonders Learning Center. The cafe serves fresh fruit cups, Dippin' Dots, pretzels, nachos, popcorn, chips, candy, and has a Mix-It-Up ICEE station!

Cottonwood Cafe
Located at the center of the Zoo, this cafe is the perfect stop for lunch or a snack. The Cottonwood Cafe is open year-round and offers an extensive casual dining menu. It is centrally located near the duck pond and bandshell. Enjoy your food inside the cafe under intricate wood carvings of animals, or eat on the outdoor patio in the shade of an umbrella!
You can keep enjoying your stroll through the Zoo while your food is freshly prepared! You'll receive a text message when your food is ready for pickup. View the menu and order ahead!

Cones
The Cones ice cream shop, located adjacent to the Cottonwood Cafe, is a great stop for a summertime snack! Serving Root Beer Floats, Dippin' Dots, ICEE, and chocolate-dipped gourmet waffle cones, as well as ice-cold drinks!

The ultimate burger stop is located on the Penguin Chill deck!
