Description
Do you know how to ride a bike but never tried mountain biking? Are you curious to explore what it’s like riding off road and getting out into nature? Albuquerque has a great network of trails on the west mesa, in the Rio Grande bosque, and along the Sandia foothills. Join us with City of Albuquerque Esperanza bike crew for a fun and supportive two-part class that will introduce you to the basic skills, gear, and safety of this popular sport. Mountain bike and helmet provided. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Two-part class is limited to six adults, must attend both parts. Registration closes day before at 11:59pm.
Program is free, but registration is required at play.cabq.gov (Open Space → Public Programs → Adult Programs → Intro to the Outdoors)
